MAY

WILD PLACES

May 15 - May 30

Lauren Berkowitz, Nadine Christensen, Yvette Coppersmith, Rozalind Drummond, Carolyn Eskdale, Bianca Hester, Midori Mitamura, Drew Pettifer, Justine Trendall, Eiichi Tosaki curated by Rozalind Drummond.

How other artists might consider, and speculatively represent the idea and concept of 'wilderness' and landscape is the premise for this exhibition.  Spending time, being physically surrounded by the flux and instability of nature is a complex encounter in the 21st century world.  Whether bounded by conventional representations or as an entirely fictive and experimental space, a site for the disruptive, memorable, transcendental, real, picturesque or psychological.
